things I would request are to remove the text and graphics from the strobe screen as they add unnecessary brightness. add some kind of multi-step feature so that the session can have a rise up/down to a particular frequency, a sustained time at that frequency and then another finishing gradient. something like a sound waveform attack/decay/sustain/release. that would make it perfect. only then will I release the remaining star I keep trapped like evil bowser. ”

I don't know what's up with the creepy picture of a planet on the app but there is no weird hidden voices or anything like that, it's 100% scientific on how your brain and your mood react to certain frequencies. Do some reasearch first and youll be a much happier user.
I don't use all the time but when I can't sleep it's a life saver. Took me a while to find the settings that work good for me but once I did it was lights out and a hard nights sleep. Shocked to find that the frequency to invoke dreams also worked.

True binaural beats GENERATOR not just looped recordings. ★★★
“ This is a tool, not a toy.
Attractor actually generates the binaural beats dynamically so you know that the binaural beats are accurate and real and you can clearly perceive them. Many of the other binaural beats apps just playback looped recordings whose effectiveness really depends on whether the author got it right when recording it.
And because Attractor generates the beats on the fly, it gives you the ability to perform gradual brain entrainment by setting a starting and ending brainwave frequency. Quoting from the Wikipedia article on Binaural Beats: "The brain entraining is more effective if the entraining frequency is close to the user's starting dominant frequency. Therefore, it is suggested to start with a frequency near to one's current dominant frequency (likely to be about 20 Hz or less for a waking person), and then slowly decreasing it towards the desired frequency."
To that effect, Attractor has a timer to control the speed of your entrainment session and also displays the current frequency you are subjected to in case you are curious. There are also some background noise samples, again quoting from Wikipedia: "Some people find pure sine waves unpleasant, so a pink noise or another background (e.g. natural sounds such as river noises) can also be mixed with them."
I highly recommend Attractor to people who are serious about binaural beats technology and want a true beat generator to fully customize your brain entrainment sessions. You do need to know some details about binaural beat frequencies to get the most out of this app and the Wikipedia article is the best place to start.”

The environments are extremely pleasant and the beats are on comfortable carrier frequencies.
Requesting:
• Custom session time input. This app can go pretty deep (0.4Hz!) and 60 minutes is too short.
• Advanced session programming. The icing on the cake would be a *timeline screen* where you can create custom sessions. (ie. Entrain downward, maintain with occasional spikes, entrain up.) All the right tools exist here already. I'd pay through the teeth for something like that.
• Save multiple created sessions.
• More environments. ”

“User friendly interface and great functionality. I have a bit experience with entrainment techniques and I find this app to be the best of the binaural iPhone apps so far. Ability to record (or not) your own affirmations and set your own frequencies makes it extremely flexible, whether you just wish to relax, meditate, fall asleep, boost your energy, focus on work or attract desired outcome. With the comming update it will be almost perfect.

“This is THE ONE. It's very customizable so you can find just the right frequency, ambiance and volume for your own brain. If you really want to go hardcore - record your own message to layer in and check out the visual stimulator. I thought the visual would be a bit much or distracting to say the least but it was perfectly in sync with the binaurals and really brought my meditations to a new level. This is good stuff. If you dig binaurals or if you'd think you'd like to give it a try, jump in and give this one a shot. I also own a dozen or so other apps of this type and this is my favorite. I've deleted the others.
The only thing that makes it a 4 star app versus 5 is the inability to save multiple programs. It will save your setting between sessions which is great if you always use it for the same thing but with it being SO customizable, it's a shame that you can't save all of your programs for quick re-use at a later time. Nonetheless - stellar app for us new agey hippie tech types! ”
